Celebrating Matt Kemp's two year lung transplant anniversary
The 23rd April 2021 marked two years since Matt Kemp, Scientifica’s Managing Director, received a life-saving lung transplant. This is a time to celebrate, reflect and appreciate the amazing science that enables these transplants to take place.
Matt says, “I will always be grateful to the organ donor and their family, as well as the NHS and Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospital. I was so well- supported by my family, my friends and my colleagues before and after my surgery and am now happily living life two.”
It is important to consider your thoughts and feelings regarding organ donation, and to have the conversation with your family about your wishes, as it really does save lives.
