Scientifica Meets - Nat O'Neill, UCL
Scientifica recently had the pleasure of speaking with Nat O'Neill, Post doc at the Lignani Lab in the Department of Clinical and Experimental Epiliepsy at UCL.
Nat discusses his research journey, from his PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh to his current work at UCL using a combination of in vitro, in vivo and ex vivo electrophysiology techniques to characterise the functional impact on neurons of a novel activity-dependent gene-therapy to treat chronic epilepsy - the most common severe neurological disorder.

"The Scientifca patch rigs are stable, low noise workhorses and they just work. The very low drift and noise offered by the PatchStars has allowed me to do very long recordings....I end up recommending Scientifca multiple times per year."
